Affordable Homes in County Waterford

Affordable homes are provided by Waterford County Council to help people who want to buy a home in County Waterford but cannot afford to buy on the open market.   If you want to apply, check that you meet the criteria below, download the application form available on this page and return it to the Council.

To Qualify for an Affordable Home

you should: 

• be a first time buyer (certain exceptions apply);
• be in full time employment for at least 6 months or self employed for at least 2 years; and
• earn between €25,000 and €55,000 as a single applicant or up to €100,000 as a combined income if you are applying with someone else.
