Affordable Homes in North Tipperary

Affordable homes are provided by North Tipperary County Council to help people who want to buy a home in the North Tipperary area but cannot afford to buy on the open market.   If you want to apply, check that you meet the criteria below, download the application form available on this page and return it to the Council.
 

To Qualify for an Affordable Home

You should:

• be a first time buyer (certain exceptions apply)
• be in full time employment for at least 12 months or self employed for at least 2 years
• be in need of a home and have sufficient income  to meet the payments on a mortgage.  Your mortgage repayments should not exceed 35 per cent of  your  annual income net of income tax and pay related social insurance.
