Affordable Homes in Laois
Affordable homes are provided by Laois County Council to help people who want to buy a home in the Laois area but cannot afford to buy on the open market. If you want to apply, check that you meet the criteria below, download the application form available on this page and return it to the Council.
To Qualify for an Affordable Home
You should:
- be a first time buyer (certain exceptions apply)
- be in full time employment
- earn up to €50,000 as a single applicant or up to €75,000 combined income if you are applying with someone else
